August 1, 2018 at 10:05 amI left myself a day to go shopping in the gold souk, during my stay in Dubai. While they sell beautiful items, I was deeply disappointed by the lack of knowledge when resizing jewellery. I was purchasing a ring, along with two necklaces. I was told it could be resized to fit my finger, and they sent the ring over to their other store while they proceeded to charge my credit card. Unfortunately, as soon as the transaction was completed, the salesman received a phone call saying the ring could not be resized. While they refunded the full purchase back to my card (I think), I was not able to transact anything further due to overreaching my limit. A little unprofessional considering that this is their business. I missed out on making any purchases due to their error and misinformation.
