Upon return home, I had the necklace validated by a local jeweler, and it was 18k White Gold, and real diamonds. I’d buy from Dhanak again.

March 20, 2023 at 1:03 amI went with my wife to Dhanak and we were a little bit concerned about the shopping experience at the Souk. If you ever go to the Souk, you willbe approached by many people in the streets asking you to come to their store, try stuff out and, yes, I get it – it is cultural.
But when we got into Dhanak, we had a completely different and positive experience. Deven was very calm and polite throughout the entire process, and we didn’t feel like we were being pushed into buying something. We looked at a ring and necklace, tried it on, and then said that we would have a look around. He gently said that it was fine (no “hey come back, how much do you want to pay” experience we got in other shops.
When we came back, Deven was kind to help again and would show some other options. Great and smooth experience (over an orange juiced served by him). The prices were very good for the quality of the products sold.
I would definitely recommend this place (also because they are part of the tax free program)

Had a custom sapphire & pearl earring + necklace set created and the finish was stunning, exceeded my expectations and more. The workers inside super friendly and polite and even plated my late grandmothers ring in white gold for free complimentary. Will continue to come back to this shop for any jewellery in the future.
